About Us
You have probably stumbled across our blog because you already know that Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a highly talked about topic with IT and business managers looking to integrate new and re-use existing applications, and services, to improve their enterprise application infrastructure. Whether or not you believe a SOA infrastructure is a way to speed up the application development process and make your enterprise infrastructure more secure, agile and adaptable to changing business needs, we think you'll find this blog informative, intriguing and certainly provocative. This blog is being hosted by Progress Software, a leader in providing smart application and SOA infrastructure software, technology and tools.
But, this blog isn't about Progress Software, it's about SOA Infrastructure. It's about the best-practices, industry standards, and the innovative news and technology that is shaping how companies, service-providers and application developers are delivering - or not delivering - on the true promise of SOA. Our core team of SOA bloggers will disseminate the pros and cons of SOA technologies such as enterprise messaging, SOA and Web Services management, semantic integration, SOA governance, enterprise service bus (ESB), SOA integration and much more. We welcome hearing about what you think are hot SOA infrastructure tools and emerging technologies. We welcome your views and opinions of SOA. We want you to share your SOA experience. Make sure to post Comments to blog topics or feel free to email us if you are interested in being a guest author.
